"There are still slaves in africa" Yes there are, and it is one of the great tradgedies out of many on that continent. And true, if it wasn't for the Africans, there wouldn't have been much of a slave trade when the US was buying them. FWIW, how do you know that I haven't been complaining about this for a while? The problem when you break this down into liberal/conservative, right/left, red/blue is that you have to shovel people into broad categories that often don't fit. I don't like Bush. He ruined the finances of this state while he was governor and he did everything he could to make sure that the worst polluters in the oil industry got a competitive advantage over the ones that played by the rules. That doesn't make me a liberal.
