Vaughn. Maybe I sound too pro MPV.But this comes from my experience as an investor in Winspear, and the buyout I expected to happen after WSP disclosed the 9ct stone.I have looked at all the numbers of Snap and my math tells me that KL is a better mine for Debeers. It would seem foolish for Debeers not to put its biggest mine into production when it has a higher IRR than Snap and Victor, being KL.If the stock price was to continue to advance,IMO it would flush Debeers out of the bush sooner rather than later. As I am not a fly on the wall of Debeers HQ in Toronto, I can only guess that the 130 employees of Debeers Canada many were brought here from S.A. to work on planning for a mine at KL in 1999,and were put on hold because of the poor Tuzo results, have been instructed to plan again. The fact that KL is in FS is confirmation of this fact. This begs the question does Debeers need a partner that has nothing to bring to the table? No.Does Debeers being a private company need to disclose its intentions to the market place?Yes if MPV remains there partner, No if they are no longer a partner. One can only draw one conclusion MPV IMO is soon only going to be found in the diamond history books like WSP soon.
