“"There were a lot of people in the New Testament myths who were demon possessed. How many are there in your community? Obviously, the people in the hospitals--right?"

Wrong! That is a flagrant misrepresentation.“

How is it a misrepresentation? It is a question--DUH!

DUH???? Any three year old can see what you are doing. The inclusion of "Obviously" at the beginning and "--right?" at the end of your statement changes it from a question into a conclusion. One that is intentionally misleading.

<<<It's sad to see you disparage someone of his stature so casually.>>>

"What are you talking about?"

"Mr. Flew is 82 years old and is increasingly unable to engage in sound science or philosophical inquiry."

I know how Mr Flew must feel having your statements twisted in a way that would discredit him. You have just shown all here that you would stop at nothing to defeat "the enemy".

To say that at 82 you do not have the many years required to devote to a major project, is not to say that you lack intellectual wherewithal to accomplish said task. It is deplorable, but not unexpected for you to argue in such a fashion.

“Theists would do well to drop the example of Flew. Because his willfully sloppy scholarship can only help to make belief look ridiculous.“

Right. We theists do a good job of making ourselves look ridiculous with our own sloppy scholarship. No need to borrow from Flew.
