This is simply not true.

Find me a human that believes he, his wife and his adolescent children should serve as sexual slaves and servants to the threatening country's population before going to war.

It's an option, and one that would probably prevent any war.

And no free human will explore that option.

Given human nature and economic conditions, I think the allies played it exactly right. The only way to have stopped what came done was to intercede when the Bundestag made Hitler chancellor of the Reich. And no one, absolutely no one but you hindsight jockeys, could have predicted what a monster Hitler would become.

I don't disagree too much, really. Only back then it was the "Reichstag"... "Bundestag" is post war only.

Also I would have added "...what a monster Hitler and Stalin would become" since we all now know that.
