Funny the way the right is attacking Rather. Normally you would think that, when the person you perceive as an opponent is retiring, good folks would be gracious enough to let bygones be bygones. That's pretty much how Americans in my lifetime have shown their class. But I suppose they figure that Rather will start saying what he couldn't say at CBS, where he had to remain relatively neutral. Now he will be free to say whatever he thinks... so as is typical, they will discredit anyone that disagrees with Bush as a wacko or a liar or a degenerate. Classic Rove. I remember when the country wouldn't tolerate that kind of crude behavior. But those days are gone, now we revel in crushing our political opponent. It's not the same country; it's not polite.
