Searle, Thanks for the seismic report. I'm located about 300 miles east of the Cascadia subduction zone so the likelihood that we'd feel anything even with a 9.0 earthquake is just about nil. The big excitement for the day was a multiple alarm fire in my neighborhood. I just got off the phone with a friend of mine whose house was the next in line to a series of seven structures (residences, garages and a daycare center) that went up in smoke this afternoon. Fortunately, my friend suffered no damage at all. Life's uncertain, eh?
