Barnett does sarcasm pretty well

It's the first time he has gone directly after the NYT. I like the bit about when things go badly, it's the "Bush Admininstration's" fault. When they go well, The "US" gets the credit.

BTW, Barnett is at Berkeley this week, giving the "Chester Nimitz Lectureship." This is a major feather in his cap, and a large amount of change. They are free. Wish I could be there.

Tonight there is dinner at Berkeley where I am expected to speak. Think I will do opening sequence from master brief, saving all the Core-Gap, System Perturbation and ordering principle segments for Wednesday night lecture, then Four Flows, Transaction Strategy and Leviathan-SysAdmin for Thursday night's second lecture. Tuesday night I'll do a shorter combined version at the World Affairs Council in San Fran. Four talks in four nights. Plus an appearance with a cadets/ROTC class (if I remember correctly), plus taping a local TV show.
