How old is your daughter? Poor thing. She really much have been scared.

Jewel, that's terrible! Did she require stitches? Just so you know, hand injuries can be tricky and are treated with high priority in ERs. Be sure she gets a follow-up exam within two days. In the meantime watch closely for signs of infection. If you see any, return her immediately to the ER. I read ahead and see you plan to rearrange the furniture in her room. Good idea. Hope it works. Weather is not one of my favorite subjects right now. I hibernated for all of January and part of February. Snow literally buried Nevada, especially up north. One could not tell the downtowns from the ski slopes. - Holly
