Look at the pix, Ted. So far nobody has claimed they are fake.

Forget the bullet holes for a second. Neither of us know the condition of the car before the incident; however, I must say it looks pretty beat up. It appears that the front hood would fly up if the car was traveling at a speed of 40+ mph or 64+ km per hour, and there is no evidence visible that it was tied down. Iraq has no rope?

In addition, there were reports that the soldiers were firing an M60......that's a machine gun. Is it possible that they were firing mostly at the engine block as reported and most of the bullets went through the car's front grill and therefore, would not be evidenced by holes?

Is it possible that the front hood damage and the bashed in grill is due to the barrage of fire they did not encounter as the FreeRepublic suggests?

See Taro....these are some of the questions the FreeRepublic ignores and for which I would like some answers before passing final judgment.
