Yes, I heard between 15-20% for WWII. Read a story recently that Glen Miller may have been a victim. His plane disappeared over the English Channel. Years later, two pilots confessed that they think they might have hit his plane when they jettisoned their bombs over the channel (standard practice when they couldn't bomb their target). They saw the bombs fall, and incredibly hit another plane far below them (that apparently shouldn't have been so low). Not their fault, but happens in war.

Anytime there is an insurgency against occupiers, innocents will be killed. Unfortunately, few of the relatives are understanding, and many seem to blame the US. More enemies that could potentially be recruited. We've got to get out, not only to save our troops, but to stop recruiting for bin Laden...
