Hi DAK.

"salesmen praying on the ignorant {not only poor, unless you call someone with house, car, and multiple TV's poor}."

If they were all purchased on credit, and the buyer is heavily leveraged, he could indeed be poor, much more than his possessions indicate.

>> {not only poor, unless you call someone with house, car, and multiple TV's poor}.<<

I know, but that is not what I was talking about. I was talking about marketing credit cards with extremely high interest rate and fees to those with very poor credit, who otherwise would not be able to borrow, and marketing the card to high school/college students. This is like predators setting up traps before they want to eat something/someone.

Of course, you can always argue, in the cases of the people with poor credit and college students, they are adult so they should be able to make decision for themselves. But in any society, there are some innocent/ignorant people who needs some protection from this type of predators. And that is why we have the government (no I don't mean a gov. in multi national corporations' pocket<g>).
