I'm going to have to read more of his novels, this one was terrific. Early in the story he mentions that the generators on the island use AC current, not DC ... neat how that becomes relevant at the end.

I got the Sutherland movie from Netflix, it is really good. Watching a really good movie version of a book you enjoyed is a lot of fun. Disney is coming out with a movie version of "Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy," which started out as a radio program then a BBC series then a series of books ... it is a fine series but I like the author's "Dirk Gently" detective novels better. A primary character in one of them is Thor, the God of Thunder, who doesn't deal too well with airport hassles.
