IPII up sharply on the news, to $1.90, then pulling back. Volume is twice the average.

Weekly shows previous highs of $2.00 and $1.92. Maybe the increased interest will push it through? Valuations are reassuring...

ipii is bringing on a 50-75% increase in production capacity for its pool finishes business, which should be online by month's end and in time for the start of the pool season.

in regard to its exterior plasters and finishes--if you look at the age profile of existing housing stock in florida, the damage impact from last year's hurricanes and the ability of IPII to address these markets, it's hard to see much slowing in demand for the next few years. i don't really think IPII's demand is related to broader national homebuilding trends, whether positive or negative.

IPII is rocking the last few days, up 10.4% today on 4 times ave. volume, yet still seems reasonably priced when you consider the hot housing market, hurricane season, and expansion plans management put in place.
