Thank you for yet another insult -- simply because I dared to go to a site you don't approve of.

> If I'm making you angry, then at least we both know that I'm getting through to you. What would you have me do in the face of the crap that you've been posting here lately?

Yes, I am angry because you are pissing me off with your attitude. And if I didn't actually like you or believe in your sincerity I wouldn't waste my time with you. But this is not a politically approved website. Further, I do understand how you feel about the problems in the US but it will not help to solve them one iota by insulting me, or anyone else here.

As far as SI is concerned, I believe it is a collection of forums where, supposedly, ladies and gentlemen can come together to debate issues of the day, or whatever. Naturally, there will be differing opinions because that is how people are. You have made your point over and over that there are people and sites you don't approve of. However, I don't tell you where to go or whom to talk to and I would appreciate the courtesy that you respond to me in kind. Further, in the spirit of what I believe this place is all about, if you don't agree with what I have said then I would appreciate it if you would just tell me why so that we can debate the point -- not insult me because you don't like the reference. Indeed, I would say there is more to communication than what is being communicated. I would suggest that one also communicates values, of which one of the most important is respect.

The article you posted asks the question what can be done about the tyranny which is enveloping the US? Humbly, I would suggest your Constitution is a good place to start -- and especially the part about Freedom of Speech. Indeed, I would add, like any freedom, one gets it by giving it. Practice what you preach. If you are concerned about fascism in the US, then you do not combat that by being a fascist yourself.
