I posted the link more for the list of military blogs than to endorse its comments.

Secondly, there isn't a lot of positive coming out of Iraq

Positive things have happened in Iraq but minor bits of good news aren't considered as newsworthy as an explosion that kills an American or that kills 20 Iraqis. Your right that this has more to do with the fact that negative news is considered more newsworthy by the media than it has to do with anything else, still I don't think its silly to see bias in the reporting.
