AJ, Whew! To know you in Canada receive immediate care for a critical or life-threatening illness is a relief. You had me worried there for a bit.

Yes, we have generic drugs here. Many of our health plans insist we go with the generic drugs when available. Of course, one can always personally pay for the brand-name drugs. - Holly

Some states have laws requiring a generic be used in preference to a brand name UNLESS the doctor specifically directs otherwise.
