No doubt about it,....expansion of chip capacity has been big in China,..... much to the chagrin of other global players. That said, I think the cited predictions for near term future Chinese growth in this arena are both naive and unrealistic. Several of the sectors mentioned are already saturated and sinking beneath a sea of unsold inventory.

I do think Chinese efforts in this area add additional (and unwanted) inventory problems for more established players. One more reason why I will stay short.
