AJ, that seems doubtful to me. What I observed was the charity patients got the most tests and the best treatment available, the reason being that they are prone to file lawsuits, and the hospitals would CYA with them. Still, they did not take precedence over the critically ill ones. - Holly

Personal experience? That's crap.

I've spent hours a few times waiting in ER waiting rooms with non-critical illnesses.

And then their was the time that I told the triage nurse my symptoms and those double doors swung open within 5 seconds and 5 seconds later I was on a gurney with people running around like crazy.

But then Holly can testify I'm a good looking stud. :-)
