why buy AUD when their current acct deficit is worse than US'? and, if anybody is afraid of a China meltdown, just look what happened to AUD in the wake of the last Asian implosion.

why buy NZD when that country is run by troglodytes? (actually, i do own quite a bit of NZD still but i have a soft spot for hobbits -g-)

the interest differentials vs USD have come in considerably and the higher cross rates are causing export pain for the non-USD currencies. central bankers will be pressured to do what they do best--debauch the currency.

it seems to me that the benefits of Gold as USD hedge have grown relative to non-USD currencies.
