Good idea -- when I sold my last house I added a rent-back for a couple weeks so that we could live in both houses at the same time for a few days (and move only once that way). With so many people looking to "invest" in houses, there should be a very high demand from people looking to rent it out while they wait their 12-24 months to get their 50% profit <g>

She doesn't live in it currently - is renting it out, she is touring the country in an RV most of the time, so her tax man told her not to sell it for the capital gains would be a lot of money. But with your strategy maybe she could find an investor that would sign a contract to let her live there 2 years and sell it to him at today's price.
