Expanded market ... <g>

According to market research group Gartner, Korea's three largest handset manufacturers - Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics and Pantech - sold an estimated 1.52 billion mobile phones last year, accounting for 24.2 percent of the global market at 6.4 billion units.

Decimal point moves one place to the left and Gartner-wise as opposed to Samsung-wise, .64 billion becomes .674 billion

Samsung = 84.9 million  (12.6%)
LG = 41.9 million (06.2%)

If .152 billion is an accurate total, then:

P&C = 25.2 million (03.7%) ... not too shabby.

(22.5%)

Interesting:

We expect to be among the world's top five mobile-phone makers by the end of the year.

Maybe they'll buy Siemens. <ggg>
