You could be right though we have this new ownership society along with very easy financing that will be pumped by the powers at be to the bitter end and high debt levels the likes of which have never been seen before. Great book on the subject by Robert Campbell, 'Timing the Real Estate Market' using existing home sale, new building permits, new foreclosure filings and interest rates for the San Diego market over a long period. He also posts a lot on www.sdcia.com and this stuff is his passion. Remember builders build until they go bankrupt.
