austrie... How about Bush leveraging this Energy Spike to get his Energy Plan passed....then watch the air come out of prices...

- just watch the timing.

Bush live...commenting on our 250 year supply of Coal.

More Electricity is generated from Coal than Nat Gas fired plants.

LNG boom 3-5 years away and competitive at $3.50 gas....doesn't need the Oil Sand Economics to be viable.

$1 to find.
$1 to liquify
$1 to transport from ME/Africa to USA
.50 cents to turn from liquid back to gas

Huge old, known fields like those for example in Quatar...have "0" finding costs...they're known - the gas is there and coming.

Nat Gas and Crude will have plenty of alternative fuels to compete against.

Waiting lists on Hybird Auto's growing..we'll all be (should be anyway...) driving one, if not a complete non-gasoline powered vehicle in 10 years imho.

Geothermal Heat Pumps broadly being used in New Construction Homes.

The cure for high prices.... is, was and will always be - High Prices.

PS: Beige Book report today, shows inflationary price pass thru from commoditys has arrived ~

- whodathunkit ?

INFLATION will be the story for 2nd half 2005/2006...rates will continue to rise.

10 year Bond Rates pop -

Broad bases rate sensitive sector sell off today in Homebuilders, Reits, Utilities, Financials....
