The sad fact of the matter is more wars have been fought, and more people have been killed, in the name of one god or another, than for any other reasons combined. Or as JC put it, "I cometh not to bring peace. I cometh with a sword.". You can call it jihad, or you can call it a crusade, but in either case, the results are identical.
