I will contend that Rense is not the only agency concerned about misleading the public if, in fact, it is an agency concerned with disinformation. Indeed, the question I ask myself is why is this the first time that this picture has surfaced when it must have been known about for over 3 years? Anyway, I haven't seen it before. The answer I come to is that, had the engine been that of a 767 there would have been every reason for it to have appeared in the mainstream press because the story about how it came to be in Murray Street is quite incredible. The conclusion I come to is that it would have been too embarrassing had the picture appeared because some expert or other would easily have identified it on sight -- and he would have identified it as from a airplane other than a 767.

Like myself. But, however it was put there, and phoney or not, if the long edge is 24 inches, then the diameter of the barrel of the engine is indeed about 3 feet.

Do you think one can identify the Murray Street engine part from this schematic diagram of the CFM56-7 motor? I'm not saying it is from the CMF56-7 only that the drawing might help one to identify the location of the part.
