Bush appears to be only concerned with the sovereignty of the US.

Ridiculous. If that were correct, why would he try to install a democratic government in Iraq? If his only concern was US sovereinity he would just kill all the Iraqis and take their oil for Americans.

What was there about Bush you did not like that prompted you to vote for Kerry?

Lots of things. I don't like the fact that he is a child of political elite and was the front runner on that basis alone in 2000 primaries, I was not impressed with his pre-governor record, I don't like his views on abortion and gun control, and in regard to Iraq I think the speed with which control of the country and responsibility for internal security has been given back to the Iraqi population has been much too slow. For example, why weren't Iraqi patrols guarding the airport when the Italian hostage car approached? I don't see why it takes more than 2-3 months to train an Iraqi to be a decent policeman.

My view that it's OK to use force against governments that worsen the lives of their people doesn't have much to do with Bush, or even with 9/11, but he's the first president in a long time to do that.
