<<expensing options didn't kill the Google IPO.>> Wait a minute. I didn't say expensing options would KILL the Google IPO, first of all. Google is the most successful company in the history of technology after all. I don't think anything could have "killed it". What I said was that expensing options are a deathknell for startups, just your average startup if you want to be precise. Which I continue to believe. And pertaining to google I said expensing [employee] options at IPO would have caused google to "look" unprofitable. And I believe that would have hurt the company.
