Maurice, When was there ever a fight to free Texas from the Confederates? Texas was a part of the CSA during the Civil War, so your point is so far in left field, it is out of the ball park.

True, and the machine gun was formed from the letters that make up "Sinn Fein." I can't find one via google. Hope the widow kept it or gave it to the kids, it will become a collector's item, no doubt.

i did take from your post that anyone who contributed money to Ireland relief funds during 60's etc where mindless.

I for one person contributed often. attended many charity functions with the understanding that the money was going to the aid of children and families in Northern Ireland.

Most of the events were held by friends of the Columban Fathers. st.columban.org

imo your post was in bad taste.
