In the Vatican's case, instead of funding a faith-based organization, we would keep that office open and use it to sell the Vatican some of our debt. I read that Communist China and South Korea are tired of lapping it up. I did find a little paragraph from Mr. Bush that you might enjoy. It gives meaning to the faith-based initiative. Here it is: "The goals that we've set here in our nation, which is a compassion country for everybody, to bring light where there's darkness, to help people who struggle, that goal -- they are large. I mean, these goals are large goals, I mean, really big goals, important goals. And it's important for our fellow citizens to understand that to achieve those goals, we need all the help we can get. Maybe we can build a nice casino complex at Guantanamo and when Fidel is gone, we can open it up immediately. That will help in turning the island back into a glitzy tourist complex.
