Otherwise known as a state maintained dirt cartpath, which the state wishes to and apparently believes they have abandoned.

What I meant was I am blocked from the newly blacktopped former dirt cartpath that the right people talked to the right people to get paved. And more importantly to open up that particular ridge for development. All the developments bordering this nicely new paved road are gated communities with dead ends and no right of access or connection. My tract is on their opposite border. We tried to bargain for a right of way but were unsuccesful.

I'll just have to wait til these people move over a ridge and repeat their process on the state cartpath. And I can wait, maybe my kids will do something big with it. Right now it can sit in solitude and provide quiet times, camping fun, big views and hunting trips. 20 years from now the general area won't have but a handful of 100 acre parcels remaining. Much less 300 acres.

I just am amazed at the surrounding developments getting $600k for 10 acre lot, and another one getting $400k for 3 acres.
