Sandi – I do long term option leaps and know the put/call market but would like to refer you to Terry or others on the board for safe play puts options plays and the how-to. I can tell you that you don’t want to buy an option with an expiration date too close to today. That is why I buy only leaps. Others on this thread like to leverage (very wise) their money by means of options, put/calls contracts. Open interest in the contract they buy also plays a role. I would ask others on this thread who are willing to share, to do so. Reid
