What will cause groups like hizbullah et al. to give up rejectionsism and accept the existance of Israel? Once all three major religions in the area agree to the right of the others to exist and practice their faith all is possible. Is Jerusalem the deal maker in all of this? I know the israelis arent giving up sovereignty but i am certain reasonable people can find a way to share the "spiritual capital" of Jerusalem. And perhaps the Pal state can be headquartered in Jerusalem in a compound that has legal status as an embassy does? Perhaps their can be a common building with a room in between the two chambers that is available for the two nations to plot some common strategies going forward. Can start with issues like water and move to an EU type situation including other non-rejectionist arab states. Maybe even the Turks could get in without prejudice, unlike their experience with the civilized euros? Just dreaming a bit outloud. Seriously though--i think the first questions i asked about rejectionism and getting rid of it are pertinent. mike
