Great point. With all the housing action I expect construction and renovation have really gone through the roof. Picture a flipper, "fix it up" person. For an owner-renovator that labor goes unreported as wages. Same for an owner builder.

As for drugs and prostitution, I can't say if that has increased over the last few years. OTOH, Vegas is booming...
