What I'd be curious is how many would be willing to put the WEstern Wall in international hands for peace -- I have a feeling that in their minds when asked the question they think it'd mean they were giving control to the Palestinians.

I don't think anyone is going to be satisfied with whatever is done with Jerusalem. Even if its made an open city, I think the Israelis particularly will be unhappy. After all, Jerusalem is the most important city in Israel and the largest. I suspect the population is close to 1,000,000 with about 2/3 being Jewish.

When you think of all the issues on the table, it seems impossible that this conflict will ever be resolved.
