Hi Alex,

A wolf can be tamed but don't train well because they are timid and get spooked easily. The wolf/dog we owned was a good guard dog because he weighed 150 lbs and never wagged his tail so people assumed he was on guard but he was really just searching for treats.

Their main instinct is to defend their food and as a puppy his hair would stand straight up if anyone walked by his dish. He was loyal, liked to dig trenches about 10 times bigger than a dog would ever dream of and kill cats.

I may get another pup this spring.

Best regards
