Maurice, I appreciate your humorous sarcasm. I mean really, I do. I'm willing to admit that I may have had the misfortune of only meeting the worst that Britain has to offer, but can only judge from the experiences I have had. I no problems with most of the black people I have, and now know, and have had many very close Mexican friends, but any group is going to have their good kinds, and their bad kinds, including what you seem to be calling Americans, which is the white Europeans that invaded this continent, slaughtered, and stole the land from, the American Indians, who were here first. I have a special place in my heart for women too, but homosexuals are not on my A list, or any other list for that matter. I do not trust the French, Chinese, and Russians, and in many cases, the Germans. Americans are not numero uno, and I don't think they want to be considered as such, but when it comes to fighting a war, we are ready to do the job, and get it done as quickly as possible. Sometimes we make a mistake. We had no business in Viet Nam, and many fine young American troops were killed for no good reason, but because of political interferrence. IOW, We ain't perfect by a long shot. Still, after all we have done for France, Germany, and other European countries when they were in peril of destruction, one might expect a thank you, or a pat on the back, instead of having our citizens spat upon on the streets of Paris, or Berlin. I feel that the British are still our friends, but all this started about getting rid of the IRA. All I said, was that getting Britain out of Ireland, would leave the IRA with nothing to do, and then without a cause, they would cease to exist. My business day are over, but did travel extensively when it was in high gear. Now a days, I am around people of other nationalities only when I am on vacation, or a cruise. I am not sure what time it is there, but enjoy your tea.
