Grainne is certainly not eccentric nor is she a flake, she is a flibbertigibbet.

Everybody deserves a fresh start.

I thought so too and was looking forward to a thread where people could congregate and not be so political

I soon saw that was not to be the case

during pre-elections it became very clear it was political and very left, led by the thread head

left views were applauded [as was name calling to the president], right view were taken to task [including name calling to the left]

unfair, unbalanced

as it was dawning on me the thread re-emergence was not what I had thought it would be, the killing of the Wisconsin hunters came up - I still can't believe her initial and later response - basically disregarding the deaths of six human beings because they were hunters and using it as an opportunity to take up her cause for animal rights, then endless poetic droning on animals

that did it for me

it's not the eccentric that bothered me - I loved reading Gauguin, quirky, amusing, maybe the quintessential eccentric - but vulnerable, real, with heart, with interesting things to say, interesting take on life

I find none of that on feelies today

I'm hoping this thread will evolve into what feelies once was

a bastion for fun, thinking, creativity - a pleasure to be on and participate in

Tell me what has changed, Tom. At least that matters. I and many others fail to see it.
