Also, that is I, her mother, being hit with a stream of bumper boat water and SMILING. I think that's a very important piece of key evidence.

You know how good I've been about not buying books (well at least you know I've told you I've been good). So I haven't been going to the library and buying bushels of books, and I haven't been picking them up at Costco (except for Little Children, and the Man Who Ate Everything.) So I get home today and there is an enormous shopping bag on the porch(Nordstroms- the BIG kind of bag, with handles, not one of those little brown safeway bags) and it is FULL of books. It's like the universe knew I wasn't doing my normal duty in moving the books of the world around.
