the man had suffered because of the judgment, which may have cost him "his house, his job and family," This is the type of thing which happens from time to time, which is why all the judges I know, and most of the lawyers, have unlisted home phone numbers and so forth. But you can find anybody if you want to badly enough. Recently a local lawyer was kidnapped and treated very badly by a man who had an adverse decision in an estate case. Scary. I've even heard of lawyers (and judges) being killed, maybe by people who took Shakespeare a little too literally.
