I understand accessing your own info when it is established, but now the dilemma of entrance into a prestigious school and the pressures just to get this far (internal as well as external-- ie family tradition (donating)/ academic + perserverance) and to blow it on an ethical choice or curiosity or inside knowledge (the competition is great) is overwhelming and even worse as the highlighted sentence may show, some one else (READ parents or counselor) might have done it or mistaken a peer's instruction. Business and Ethics Don't Mix world be a great study to see what would happen to those that blew that chance-- as well as those that would be let in --you know-- without fanfare. (Bet this would be a lesson they would never forget if given a second chance.)
