The right is promoting a very core change to the way this country does business both domestically and globally. Many of us don't like it. Some of us are leaving. Others are trying to decide what to do. Eventually, there will be a reaction and it will not be good. We are not a small minority within this country.

The left got ahead of themselves - coming out of the late sixties and early 70's.

The pendulum is swinging in the other direction. The extreme right wing think they have a mandate. They are well coordinated and well financed. They are very effective in pushing their agenda.

There is no question they are well coordinated and financed.

I have no doubt, they will push the envelope too far to the right and the pendulum will again swing back towards the middle.

That's an assumption with which I am not entirely comfortable. There is no guarantees the pendulum will swing back. The GOP has amassed a huge amount of power.

Mary, The left got ahead of themselves - coming out of the late sixties and early 70's.

You could say that the left is stuck in the 60's and 70's, and the right is stuck in the 80's.
