Communist ran a state. Hizbollah doesnt. Your argument has logic but no hope. Someone might have said similar things re: South Africa, IRA, Slavery and Jim Crowe here, and yes even communism when those folks finally gave in. Reality crept into all those movements ideology and altered it to some degree. If we can say the Mideast can have democracy, we can also make the leap that they can have peace and no terror even if it starts as a temporary truce as with Hamas. Another example that might be better than the above. Look at how Mao's China has evolved? Mass murderer Mao and now economic freedom even if there are limits on the political side. mike
