My theory on this mornings histrionics. The chief accuser is on the stand today. Likely the prosecution will have him all day. There is no Court tomorrow. The defense did not want the jury to go home and have three days to think about the kid's testimony. They were hoping the judge would cancel today's session, so they could pick up again Monday, and quickly follow direct examination with cross to try to damage the kid's credibility in the minds of the jury.
