"The basic problem is the Muslims feel it is their divine right (literally) to treat all other religions with scorn and contempt. "

I trust not all muslims believe this. Tolerance comes with democracy and democracy may bring realism to those who feel as you say. And then realism may turn into better relations on the ground and less room for terror. Look, i know i am putting on my optimists suit here. I have grandchildren and i need hope. But i aint stupid either. mike

The basic problem is the Muslims feel it is their divine right (literally) to treat all other religions with scorn and contempt.

Sort of like you and "liberals" or "leftists" or whatever label du jour applies to those with insufficient faith in the never-mistaken, never-changing war president? Somebody sure seems to have been dumping limitless quantities of scorn and contempt here of late. But coming from the grand arbiter, I imagine it's all good, well-sanctified scorn and contempt.
