LOL. I also heard that Bush recently started to push for Alaskan drilling again. Short term destruction to solve a long term problem. Not very smart.

Anyway, as far as the economy goes, here's more evidence that the economy is humming along nicely...

Intel Says Business Better Than Expected

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Intel Corp. (Nasdaq:INTC - news), the world's largest chip maker, on Thursday said sales were better than expected across the board and raised financial targets for the first quarter.

"What we are basically saying is, across the entire business it's just a little bit better than we expected," Chief Financial Officer Andy Bryant said on a conference call.
