You've got the most reliable long-term growth industy fueling local RE, American government! Other industries ebb and flow, slink overseas for low wages, but American government just keeps getting bigger, no matter what party is in power. My guess is, Washington and suburbs are a pretty safe bet to survive, or even not be in a bubble. mwhodges.home.att.net There's a reason Washington seems to live in a different universe than the rest of us, IT DOES. P.S. - I don't subscribe to the link above's politics, but his figures are well illustrated.
