That might be true of some of the medical specialties such as neurosurgery, cardiovascular surgery, ortho, derm, but unlikely among line MDs such as internal medicine, pediatrics, ob/gyn. Salaries haven't risen any faster than in the general population and range from 130K to a median of about 170K and up to 250K-400K among surgeons. But workloads among MDs have risen far faster than compensation. Don't know whether that means they are in any better position to own 2nd homes, but they're unlikely to have much time to enjoy them. You could look it up.
