I have been saying for over two years (before we went to war; look at my old posts) that I would've been more supportive if: 1. Bush told the American people we were doing this for democracy, 'cause I never believed the WMD or Al-Qaida lines; and 2. We were more prepared -- enough troops, enough of an understanding of the people we were dealing with, and real support from the UN and the people of the region. Without those things, this wasn't worth doing, because I predicted civil war from the start. I still do -- just wait till we do pull out. You may be an old-time conservative, but I'm an old-time liberal! ;) Once again, the neocons are taking a liberal concept and f---ing it up. -Z
