comeon you oil industry experts, I know your out there somewhere on this thread!! Gasoline can be made from many things besides crude oil, its just that its CHEAPEST to do it from crude. If oil is going to stay high, when does it make sense to bring on line the OIL SHALE deposits, or make oil from coal (USA has estimated 300 year supply of coal). How about LPG and other resources? I am no expert, I cant comment specifically, but I know there ARE ALTERNATIVES. jdn
