I only seen a hanging once and it was uncompleted. Two prospectors accused another one of claim jumping and told him you're going to swing for it you old bastard. They put him in the back of a datsun pick-up at 2:00 a.m. with a noose around his neck thrown over a hyrdro-pole and asked him if he had any last words. He started crying and said this was a fine way to die after all the good he had tried to do etc. etc. etc. The guy inside the truck kept slipping the clutch and they were all hammered to begin with. Pretty soon the cops showed up and the game was over. They were all in their late seventies and had all been multi-millionaires at one time or another.
